Guides/Upgrading
From Florensipedia
Weapons and armor in Florensia can be upgraded to improve their statistics and visual appearance. The highest upgrade attainable is level 10. While the benefits of upgrading are enticing, there is a risk that the upgrading process may fail, sometimes resulting in the loss of your item. Item Shop help items can be purchased to reduce the failure frequency. To upgrade an item, you will need an appropriate level Upgrade Stone, Crystals, and a few Gelt to pay for the service. Speak with a nearby Smith to get started.

[edit] The Smith
Once you've gathered your Upgrade Stones and Crystals (as well as help items if you so choose), it's time to visit the Smith. Speak with the Smith and choose the Item Upgrade option from the dialog. An interface will appear. Place your item to be upgraded in the center box either by dragging it there or right-clicking it in your inventory. The two upper boxes are where your required Stones and Crystals will go. The two lower boxes are for the optional help items. If all is well, you may click "Item Upgrade" and proceed with the upgrade attempt. The Smith will charge you a fee for the service based on the quality and level of the item.
[edit] Outcomes
One of the following will happen as a result of upgrading:
- Upgrade fails, materials are lost, item is lost

- Upgrade fails, materials are lost, item is not lost but is reset to upgrade level 0
- Upgrade succeeds
